[ Madoka doesn't know why or how - in fact, it's unlikely she even thinks of it as something really weird right now - but she woke up with a huge desire to just help people. Help people, any people, with anything at all. It didn't matter what, as long as she could just try to help someone and be useful through that, just that much would be okay..

And so, no matter where you are around Luceti today, you might spot a young girl running around. If not just because the pink hair is fairly noticable. She looks.. rather tired and exhausted, if you bother to look at her carefully as she rushes by. She is actually sort of tired from running around like this all day, but more than that she's a bit desperate by now to help out anyone at all in any way because of the event's effects.

And so, when said girl spots you, she might suddenly come darting your way. ]

U-um.. I'm sorry!

[ Madoka sounds a little hasty, near out of breath as if she's been running around for a while now. (Spoilers: she has been.) But there's a rather pleading expression on her face. ]

I was just wondering.. Is there anything I could help you out with? Anything at all..?

Tired? [ She lifts her eyebrows, slightly curiously. ] I-I'm not tired at all, Homura-chan! Don't worry about me.

I see. So even in a place like this you want to be kind to all. [Homura doesn't sound disappointed, or happy. Just stating it in a matter-of-fact fashion. It would be strange to see Madoka as any different.] I'm sorry, but I don't think I need a lot of help with anything right now.

Hmm, I don't want to stop. Even if this place isn't home, it's still full of really nice people, so I'd still like to help them out if I could. Everyone has already been really kind to me too, after all.

[ ... She didn't quite expect that question. And it turns her silent for just a moment before she speaks up, hesitating just a bit. ]

That's.. I was able to meet a lot of people here who I would never have met back home, and.. to be able to spend this much time with Mami-san again too really is a miracle, huh..?

But.. of course I miss home a lot too, and if I'd never go back to see Papa and Mama and Tatsuya and everyone else again, that just wouldn't be fair. And I wouldn't want that to never happen again..

[She nods slowly, once Madoka finishes.]

I understand. That's all I really wanted to know.

[If Madoka wants to leave, then she will too. Even if the future ahead of them seems rather bleak, she won't abandon her friend to it alone.]

Homura-chan will be there, regardless whether we're here or back home again, so..

[ Even if she hasn't been as close to Homura as she has been with Sayaka, or even Mami at first - she knows Homura has done a lot for her and her friends. So even though Madoka as well knows going back home means losing her friends here again, she tries to smile a little. ]

... Thank you. Let's.. at least try to stick together in either case, okay?

[...Right, she will won't she. But, that isn't good enough. She has to be there when Madoka needs her, not here. Even if she may be there, in reality she just won't accept that phantom image of herself.]
