[ Madoka doesn't know why or how - in fact, it's unlikely she even thinks of it as something really weird right now - but she woke up with a huge desire to just help people. Help people, any people, with anything at all. It didn't matter what, as long as she could just try to help someone and be useful through that, just that much would be okay..

And so, no matter where you are around Luceti today, you might spot a young girl running around. If not just because the pink hair is fairly noticable. She looks.. rather tired and exhausted, if you bother to look at her carefully as she rushes by. She is actually sort of tired from running around like this all day, but more than that she's a bit desperate by now to help out anyone at all in any way because of the event's effects.

And so, when said girl spots you, she might suddenly come darting your way. ]

U-um.. I'm sorry!

[ Madoka sounds a little hasty, near out of breath as if she's been running around for a while now. (Spoilers: she has been.) But there's a rather pleading expression on her face. ]

I was just wondering.. Is there anything I could help you out with? Anything at all..?

[ Mami will just be chilling at home at their apartment whenever Madoka returns after her long hard day of arduous helpfulness. Mami may not have noticed anything was unusual in the morning, but the higher than normal level of fatigue showing on her roommate's face definitely catches her attention now.

While that alone would merely be curious, her open ended offer of help makes it obvious enough why she's so tired. ]

That's a rather broad question isn't it, Kaname-san? [pause] You haven't been going around all day asking that to everyone you meet, have you?

[alright she already knows the answer but let's go through the motions anyway.]

[ Yeah the answer is rather obvious.. Hence why Madoka just giggles a bit awkwardly. Don't judge her for her extreme helpfulness, senpai.. ]

Maybe.. I have.. ehehe, just a little. [ More awkward giggling. ]

But.. more importantly, is there anything I can do for you, Mami-san? I'd be really glad if I could help you out.

[ Totally judging, sorry... ]

[ She lets out a small sigh, shaking her head disapprovingly. ] Wanting to help others is fine, but you need to be a bit more careful with the execution.

[ A pause as she brings a finger to her chin to think. ] If I'm allowed to make a request of you, it'd be that you follow my advice.

[ mumi why...

She starts to look a bit more dejected at that scolding though. ]

... Hmm.. I'll follow your advice in that case for sure, Mami-san. [ It's not as if she could while she's like this but let's just keep Madoka in that illusion.. ] But.. why do I have to be more careful about it..? This is the best way to help people, right?

[ Sitting on the roof of the grocery store is one Kyouko Sakura, swinging her legs in lazy manner. ]

Mm. Ya, I think you can help me with something.

[ Oh, where's that voice coming from-- oh, up there. ]

Kyouko-chan! [ Madoka smiles as she looks up, even if she still looks pretty tired. ]

Sure! Um.. what is it?

[ isn't my crib pretty sweet Madoka!!! if you weren't hanging out with losers like Mami, you could totally chill with her here....... ]

It isn't much, but I hate to see food waste. [ She'll hop down from the roof now with a basket full of apples and other food she's ... acquired. Cause stealing doesn't exist in this game X( ]

Could you like.. I dunno. Give this away or something? I thought I was hungry, but..

If you offer too much, people will simply take advantage of that.

[she shakes her head a bit... scolding mami-san mode on.]

People need to be able to do things on their own as well... growing too dependent on the assistance of others will only make them weaker ultimately. [smile] Your heart may be in the right place, but you need to be a bit more selective with your methods.

[They're near the plaza--Aerith works there and lives right nearby, so it's not odd for her to be there. and, she's not yet affected, so she just looks at Madoka curiously when she comes up. Oooh, cute hair.]

Hm? Do I look like I need help? [She leans forward.] You seem a little tired.

[ THAT BE ONE PRETTY SWEET CRIB but can't they just go and all hang out there together.. :(

Madoka just.. pauses for a moment though and stares at Kyouko with easily readable surprise on her face. Even though she doesn't realise her own weirdness today, to see Kyouko not eat something is.. fairly surprising.. ]

E-eh..? Are you sure you don't want to eat that, Kyouko-chan? ... I-I mean, I don't want to be rude or anything, but--!

[ Normally she might have given up and just.. received Mami-san scolding mode without objections, but with her helpfulness TO THE MAX today she can't just remain silent over this. ]

But.. they'll still be capable of doing things on their own, right? Nobody can live their life all alone, so.. to receive a bit of help from someone else every once in a while is just a wonderful thing, right?

And.. I'd just like to help them with that! T-that's all.

E-eh? Tired..?

[ Of course, even she has to realise she does feel a little tired, but.. she clearly has a mission of helping people out right now, so she has to work extra hard for that. What is being a little tired. ]

Hmm, no, I'm fine, really! It must be the weather, ehehe..

No- I mean not really. Who are you?

Oh.. Not really..? [ Her expression drops just a little at that, but she tries to regain her enthusiasm a little immediately after. ] Are you really sure about that?

... And I'm Madoka, nice to meet you!

It has gotten very hot. But no, I don't need help with anything in particular right now! [She smiles.] Thank you for offering, though. I'm Aerith. What's your name?

Um.. Madoka. Madoka Kaname. It's nice to meet you, Aerith-san..

Although.. are you really sure you don't need anything? E-even if it's just really small, I don't mind helping out at all!

[ Just do what your senior tells you to geez! ]

Once in a while is fine... but you should only give them help when they really need it. Doing otherwise just allows them to be lazy.

You have to look after yourself as well, Kaname-san... If you're too busy helping others, who will help you?

I-I'm fine! Just helping out everyone else is enough for me.. ehehe, I don't really need any help with anything right now so I'm fine just doing this..

You might not think you need help right now, but you certainly do.

[a sigh] I wouldn't have to worry if you didn't make me.

... Eh..? [ Her smile turns a little into a look of surprise instead. ] Do you think I need help..? With what? I-I think I'm fine, really..

I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you worry at all, Mami-san. There's nothing to worry about either, see? I'm okay!

Hmm... well... you're really serious about this, aren't you? What if it's just something I want to do?

You're overexerting yourself. [it's not a question, instead stated quite plainly.] If you continue on like this, you won't be able to hold up.

Why are you pushing yourself so hard suddenly, Kaname-san? Did something happen?

Not that I'm aware of. Is something going on?

[Ven isn't affected just yet, so when he sees Madoka, he'll give her a great big smile.]

You know, I hadn't though of that. Truth is, I'm not sure what I need help with, but that's really nice of you to offer!

I just.. want to help people out as much as possible, that's all. If I could make someone happy by helping them, that would make me very happy as well! So anything at all is fine!
