Um.. I think I have to thank you for making me able to see this place and be here for a while, and.. p-please don't get me wrong, it seems like a really nice place! And these wings are even sort of cute too, so that's not the problem at all. It's just.. you see, if I don't get home in time for dinner I'm sure Mama and Papa will get really worried - especially Mama, if I wouldn't be home she wouldn't be happy at all and would probably throw a big fuss - and..

[ Her voice trails off as she seems to think of something and her mood dims instantly. The awkwardness that was in her tone earlier disappears and seems to be replaced by something a little more.. sad, perhaps, a softer tone. ]

So.. would it be okay for me to go back home, maybe..? To be honest, I'm not really sure why you picked me of all people to go here in the first place. I think I can't really do anything special like most people here probably can, so it would be okay for me to leave.. right?

The wings are part of an experiment. There are these alien scientists called the Malnosso that are holding us here. They're trying to find a way for us to go home.

I guess it's a good thing.. I don't have any parttime job or anything like that, so I might have gotten into trouble if I'd have to pay for everything.

A-alien scientists..? [ Okay, that sounds.. unsettling.. ] S-so.. they're trying to find a way home for us too? So they're on our side..?

I worked at my grandfather's place, but...I'm sure, if we needed jobs here, the people would be nice enough to offer us. Everyone I've talked to has been so helpful.

I'm glad if there are a lot of helpful people here. I wouldn't mind making some new friends, so.. meeting people would be nice.

... Besides.. I'd like to work hard and make myself helpful for everyone else as well. That would be really nice.

That's right! I'm from Japan, to be specific, from Mitakihara Town. ... Eh, do you mean that there are people here who aren't even from Earth? Like.. aliens?

Ah, another person from Japan! I've never been to Mitakihara Town though.

And yes. This place is somehow able to bring anyone and anything from any world! It's amazing when you think about it.

Hmm, I haven't seen a sea monster yet. I've talked to people I thought were from Earth, but really weren't.

Ah, with that last bit, do you mean.. they looked just like us, just like they were from Earth, but they ended up being really different?

Yea. I asked someone where they were from, because his name sounded foreign and he told me he was from a completely different world. He looked like a normal person though.

Huh.. It really seems like there are all sorts of people here, right..? Even people from far outside my country or even world.. It's a little scary, but interesting too.
