[ It wasn't difficult to suddenly notice that a presence was missing. Even if Yui was still there in their apartment, Homura was.. well, she wasn't anywhere nearby, and when Madoka tries to contact her through the journals there isn't any answer either. She doesn't get any definite answer until she finds the card, really. Homura wouldn't just leave that behind randomly, so.. that means..

She's gone. And-- well, someone has to tell everyone, and she considers asking Yui to do it but she doesn't want to shove a task like that on the other girl, so instead she opens her journal to speak up. Text feels too impersonal, and she can manage to keep her voice steady. It's better this way. Homura had something to do still back home, right? It's better for her to not be here, right? So.. ]

Um.. S-sorry to bother you, everyone, but for those of you who knew Homura-chan.. Homura Akemi, that is.. She was sent back home. I'm sure she's sorry that she couldn't say goodbye to everyone, but at least you all know now, right..? [ There's a giggle, but it's a little weak.

And it seems she meant to close her journal now, but instead it seems she forgets, since there's the sound of footsteps walking a little before there's faintly a song in the distance that Madoka is singing to herself, - the one from last time. It's a little weaker this time, and her voice shakes a bit too, but she still sings, as if it's an effort to cheer herself up, too. ]

Saying, 'see you later,' I wave my hand.. Forcing myself to smile, yet I'm feeling lonely...

[ Ah, a person on the journal again-- out of slight embarassment her face flushes a bit, and she rubs at her eyes to stop the tears before they come. She has to be strong. ]

.. H-hmm, I'm okay. It was just a little sudden that Homura-chan disappeared, that's all..

[The disappearances are always sudden.]

Eh..? You do..? [ for a slight moment she's quiet, just blinking at the journal as she sniffs just a little. ]

D-did one of your friends disappear too?

Not right now but enough of them have since I first got here.

... Hehe, it's.. a little sad, isn't it? And surprising too, to see them leave.. [ it's easy to notice in her voice she's just trying to keep herself strong. ]

But we all have to go on..

We do but it's okay to be down about it too.

[Especially if they're close friends.]

N-no, Homura-chan asked me to try and keep being happy, so.. I.. have to try, right? At least for her sake.

It's okay to be happy for others but if you can't smile sometimes, it's okay.

Well.. M-maybe once in a while is okay, but.. I'd like to be the happiest I can most of the time for everyone else.

I-I sort of like the way that sounds. We can try and keep everyone else happy, too.

[Selphie giggles a bit herself. She likes the sound of it herself.]

Maybe we could even get some more people to join in..! Then it would be an even bigger happy club.. [ she's slowly starting to recover a little, really. ] The bigger the club, the more people could be happy.
