[ It wasn't difficult to suddenly notice that a presence was missing. Even if Yui was still there in their apartment, Homura was.. well, she wasn't anywhere nearby, and when Madoka tries to contact her through the journals there isn't any answer either. She doesn't get any definite answer until she finds the card, really. Homura wouldn't just leave that behind randomly, so.. that means..

She's gone. And-- well, someone has to tell everyone, and she considers asking Yui to do it but she doesn't want to shove a task like that on the other girl, so instead she opens her journal to speak up. Text feels too impersonal, and she can manage to keep her voice steady. It's better this way. Homura had something to do still back home, right? It's better for her to not be here, right? So.. ]

Um.. S-sorry to bother you, everyone, but for those of you who knew Homura-chan.. Homura Akemi, that is.. She was sent back home. I'm sure she's sorry that she couldn't say goodbye to everyone, but at least you all know now, right..? [ There's a giggle, but it's a little weak.

And it seems she meant to close her journal now, but instead it seems she forgets, since there's the sound of footsteps walking a little before there's faintly a song in the distance that Madoka is singing to herself, - the one from last time. It's a little weaker this time, and her voice shakes a bit too, but she still sings, as if it's an effort to cheer herself up, too. ]

Saying, 'see you later,' I wave my hand.. Forcing myself to smile, yet I'm feeling lonely...

[ Even throughout weird happenings like these, Madoka is busy being.. well, Madoka. And that means she's all over the place during the time while there are suddenly lots of extra new people here in Luceti, pattering all over the place. Maybe she'll spot some familiar faces in the crowd, even, but she's so focused on helping all the people (helping all the people!!) that she isn't even really paying attention to who's asking it to when she speaks up. ]

U-um.. Do you maybe need some help..? [ needless to say she'll be fairly surprised if it turns out she actually ran into a familiar person.. ]

[ If you're out around the village on Christmas day - anywhere in the village, really, considering they'll be out and about all day - you might run into two girls. Said two girls being

happyends and

thederpyhalf. You might notice they're handing out things, and if you're either close enough by them or if you approach them, they might just hand over the Christmas presents they're randomly giving to people to you too, even if they're strangers!

In case you're wondering what kind of Christmas presents they're handing out, it's all kinds of hand-made bracelets. Yes, Yui and Madoka spent months working on these just so they could give them out during Christmas to make people happy. There's even different variants - girls might receive one a bit like this or this, while boys might get one more like these. ]

[ Madoka sounds a little bit unsure when the message starts - perhaps even more unsure than unusual. There's even a slight silence at first, as if she isn't sure how to start about this. But then after those few moments she does speak up, although a bit slowly and hesitantly. ]

... Um.. Sorry to ask this, but I was wondering if anyone has seen Homura-chan around. A-ah, that would be Homura Akemi. For those of you who don't know her, she's about my age, and she has really long black hair and dark purple-like eyes.

[ She takes a deep breath. ]

Y.. you see, I wasn't able to find her anywhere this morning, so I thought she might have gone out on her own.. But since she didn't tell me anything, I looked across the village to make sure, but.. [ her tone drops a little. ] I couldn't find her anywhere by myself..

So I'm sorry to bother all of you with this, but if you've seen her around, then.. please tell me. I would be really grateful, so.. hmm, thank you.

[ Madoka doesn't know why or how - in fact, it's unlikely she even thinks of it as something really weird right now - but she woke up with a huge desire to just help people. Help people, any people, with anything at all. It didn't matter what, as long as she could just try to help someone and be useful through that, just that much would be okay..

And so, no matter where you are around Luceti today, you might spot a young girl running around. If not just because the pink hair is fairly noticable. She looks.. rather tired and exhausted, if you bother to look at her carefully as she rushes by. She is actually sort of tired from running around like this all day, but more than that she's a bit desperate by now to help out anyone at all in any way because of the event's effects.

And so, when said girl spots you, she might suddenly come darting your way. ]

U-um.. I'm sorry!

[ Madoka sounds a little hasty, near out of breath as if she's been running around for a while now. (Spoilers: she has been.) But there's a rather pleading expression on her face. ]

I was just wondering.. Is there anything I could help you out with? Anything at all..?

[ From the moment the recording starts it's fairly obvious that there's a high degree of awkwardness here - it's easily readable from her expression (even if she's trying to put on a tiny smile as well), if not just from her tone. ]

Um.. I think I have to thank you for making me able to see this place and be here for a while, and.. p-please don't get me wrong, it seems like a really nice place! And these wings are even sort of cute too, so that's not the problem at all. It's just.. you see, if I don't get home in time for dinner I'm sure Mama and Papa will get really worried - especially Mama, if I wouldn't be home she wouldn't be happy at all and would probably throw a big fuss - and..

Sayaka-chan..

[ Her voice trails off as she seems to think of something and her mood dims instantly. The awkwardness that was in her tone earlier disappears and seems to be replaced by something a little more.. sad, perhaps, a softer tone. ]

So.. would it be okay for me to go back home, maybe..? To be honest, I'm not really sure why you picked me of all people to go here in the first place. I think I can't really do anything special like most people here probably can, so it would be okay for me to leave.. right?

[ A bit later one might find a young pink-haired girl sitting near the fountain, still wearing the sundress. She still looks quite lost and unsure and doesn't seem to understand everything just yet, but she seems to be distracting herself from her current situation for now by scribbling little drawings on her journal. Approach her? ]
