[ Madoka sounds a little bit unsure when the message starts - perhaps even more unsure than unusual. There's even a slight silence at first, as if she isn't sure how to start about this. But then after those few moments she does speak up, although a bit slowly and hesitantly. ]

... Um.. Sorry to ask this, but I was wondering if anyone has seen Homura-chan around. A-ah, that would be Homura Akemi. For those of you who don't know her, she's about my age, and she has really long black hair and dark purple-like eyes.

[ She takes a deep breath. ]

Y.. you see, I wasn't able to find her anywhere this morning, so I thought she might have gone out on her own.. But since she didn't tell me anything, I looked across the village to make sure, but.. [ her tone drops a little. ] I couldn't find her anywhere by myself..

So I'm sorry to bother all of you with this, but if you've seen her around, then.. please tell me. I would be really grateful, so.. hmm, thank you.

Hmm... You think that she would've left you a note or something if she was going out anywhere. Then again, she always striked me as the 'Dark Hero' type of character.

'Dark Hero'..? I'm not sure what that means, but.. w-well, Homura-chan and I are friends, so.. I thought she would at least have told me.

Heh... I already have four more nicknames for her, but 'Homu Homu' will always be the original!

... Maybe. Mami-san, and earlier Sayaka-chan and Kyouko-chan too.. They all were sent home, so maybe Homura-chan too now.

... Eh? You've had other friends of yours come to this place too?

Yes.. but that was a really long time ago, back when we all arrived here for the first time. Sayaka-chan and Kyouko-chan have already been gone for a pretty long time, and for Mami-san it must have been a month or so too now..

... [To have friends of hers to come and go so quickly? Damn, it must've been hard for her.] Would you want them to come back if possible?

[ She wants to be with them, but not if they wouldn't want to be here. But.. Mami, Kyouko, Sayaka, none of them had anything to return to, right? After all, they were.. ]

I wouldn't mind if Mami-san, Kyouko-chan or Sayaka-chan were here again.. Maybe it'll make them a little happy.

[He doesn't have any idea what their circumstances are nor is it any of his business right now, but he can assume that it isn't very good.]

I see... To choose the happiness of your friends over your own... You're a really good girl.

Eh..? It's just natural, isn't it? I'm sure everyone would wish for their friends to be happy, it's just horrible to see them sad, after all..

Yeah. I feel exactly the same when it comes to those that I care about.

But even so, there aren't too many people out there who feel the same way as you and I. That doesn't mean that they're completely hopeless, though.

... Of course. Nothing is ever.. completely hopeless. As long as we still believe in those people and try to help them, they'll surely start to see the same thing, right?

I'm glad you think the same at least though, ehehe.. The world would be nicer if people sometimes cared for each other a little more.

Does Homu Homu feel the same way about others? To be honest, she's a tough girl to read.

Hmm.. Sorry, but that question is actually a little hard.. I think Homura-chan is a little hard to read too, but if you ask me, I do think she's actually a very kind person, even if maybe doesn't seem like it at first.

Seriously? Then she's made other friends here besides you, right? Surely...

Ummm... As cool as she is, I don't think Homu Dawg is the type to be a team player.

I know Homura-chan is usually on her own, but.. she's actually really friendly too. [ although 'friendly' is relative (aka mostly just to Madoka), and Madoka is an optimist. ]

Well... I guess she's friendly towards people in her own way, but there's still always that feeling of distance, you know? It's impossible for someone to keep people at arm's length forever.

Ah, I suppose you're right.. Homura-chan does give off a bit of a feeling that she's hard to approach, huh?

But I think that's maybe just the way she is..

... I guess so. Maybe she'll learn how to open up to other people, eventually. Whenever I talked with her last time, it seemed that she was heading in that direction.

If that could happen, I would be really glad.. After all, she deserves to have friends as well. Maybe you could become good friends with her too, ehehe.
